IT'S AWARD SEASON - Across The Pond ! Yep! That's right! It's the United Kingdom's music industry's biggest night . The Brit Awards 2020 took place Tuesday Februrary 18, 2020 at the London O2 theatre. The Red Carpet looks did not disappoint. However, I had a my favorites. American Female recording artist " Lizzo " looked absolutely delicious in a Hershey ' candy wrapper ' styled dress by Moschino with matching hershey bar clutch by Judith Leiber was absolutely, mouth watering. Lizzo may not have taken home a trophy but, her performance was clearly 100 % !!

IN THE SPOTLIGHT : Diamonte' Quiava Valentin Harper , known professionally as Saweetie, (seen here in the August issue of GQ Magazine, with current boo, Quava from the The Amigos ). Saweetie is an American Rapper, born July 2 in Santa Clara, Ca. She hit the ground running or should I say twerking, following the release of her debut single " Icy Girl " from her debut extended play "High Maintenance" in 2018 . She's been making hits every since. "Icy" , "My Type" and her latest chart topper "Tap In" are all on my play list for sure. If you don't already follow her on social media, you need to tap, tap, tap in! Saweetie is so much more than just a rapper, musician, or influencer. According to Forbes Magazine, Saweetie is a CEO, student, fashion Icon and a philanthropist that's preparing a blueprint to change lives. Forbes goes on to say, Saweetie is all about elevating and motivating others in making career choices.Her possibilities are unlimited. Her message is clear and decisive: responsibility is key to being a Boss. Make sure you're making your own decisions, because if you,'re not, the world will make them for you. During her candid interview with GQ Magazine, Saweetie reveals that her relationship with Quava started out with the normal DM slides in 2018 and then the very long phone calls. Their first date was dinner at an Atlanta strip club where Quava choked on a crab cake. And as they say the rest is history.
